The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL introduced with a more recent model of Android 10 that integrated options not found on the community release in September. Gesture navigation on third-bash launchers and a handful of other features are now readily available for the Pixel 3a and more mature Google phones.

Late in the Android Q Beta, Google announced that its new gesture navigation process would not be appropriate with 3rd-bash launchers until finally a post-launch update. The December safety patch will allow you to use gestures with a homescreen encounter other than the Pixel Launcher.

This notably incorporates swiping from the corners to launch Google Assistant with a pleasant light-weight bar. Users had been formerly caught with 2-button or 3-button navigation.
